ITINERARY
Welcome to Japan - Arrive Tokyo
Arrive at Narita Airport where you will be met by your Tour Manager at the arrival area after clearing immigration and customs. Then check-in to the hotel. (Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs.)

Guided City Tour - Visit the Asakusa Sensō-ji Temple - Visit Tokyo Tower - River Sumida Cruise
After buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of Tokyo. Visit Tokyo Tower, 150m observation deck. Visit Shinjuku Gyo-en. Drive by the Rainbow Bridge. Enjoy a local lunch. Visit the 7th century Sensō-ji Temple in the Asakusa Kanon District. Stroll along the Nakamise-dori, where you can buy some local Japanese souvenirs. Later, a cruise down River Sumida from Hinode to Odaiba. See the miniature Statue of Liberty. Proceed for dinner.

Tokyo - Hakone - Mt Fuji – Matsumoto
After buffet breakfast, check out and proceed to Hakone. Take the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise to Togendai-ko. Later depart Togendai-ko on the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani, and enjoy the sights as you float above the valley. Enjoy a local lunch en route to Mt Fuji. Experience the majestic Mt. Fuji, Japan’s most famous symbol! Take in the amazing views from Mt. Fuji 5th Station (weather permitting). Later drive to Matsumoto.

Matsumoto - Alpine Route - Murodō - Toyama
After buffet breakfast, check out. Proceed to enjoy the Japanese Alps – transfer to the Alpine Coach. Tateyama experiences some of the heaviest snowfall in the world. Enjoy a local lunch en route. Experience the Murodō snow wonderland along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. At 2450 meters above sea level, Murodō is the highest point along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, offering fantastic views of the Tateyama Mountain. Proceed to Toyama.

Toyama – Kanazawa
After buffet breakfast, check out and drive to Kanazawa. One of the wealthiest cities in Japan, Kanazawa escaped the devastation of World War II, allowing its historical districts, samurai residences, and traditional art scene to remain intact. Visit Kenroku-en Garden, one of Japan’s three most beautiful gardens, the name Kenroku-en means “having six factors”, representing the attributes which bring out the garden’s stunning beauty: spaciousness, tranquility, artifice, antiquity, water sources and magnificent views. Enjoy a local lunch. Later proceed to visit Nomura Samura House, a national treasure that provides a fascinating insight into the lives of Japan's famed warriors. Later, stroll leisurely along the well-preserved Higashi Chaya District with its wooden lattice facades, teahouses, and cobblestone streets, transporting visitors back to the Edo period. Later, transfer to your hotel and check in.

Kanazawa - Shirakawago – Kyoto
After buffet breakfast, check out and visit the Alpine villages of Shirakawago and neighbouring Gokayama - declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1995. The villages are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Gassho-zukuri means "constructed like hands in prayer", as the farmhouses' steep thatched roofs resemble the hands of Buddhist monks pressed together in prayer. The architectural style developed over many generations and is designed to withstand the large amounts of heavy snow that falls in the region during winter. The roofs, made without nails, provided a large attic space used for cultivating silkworms. In Gokayama, you will experience making washi (Japanese paper). As you go about making your own postcard you will continue the tradition that hasn't changed for over 900 years. Enjoy a local lunch en route. Thereafter, proceed to Kyoto. Enjoy the views as you witness mountain slopes, streams and pine trees. Upon arrival in Kyoto, transfer to your hotel and check in.

Kyoto - Nara – Osaka
After buffet breakfast, check out and visit the Heian-jingū Shrine. Built to commemorate the 1,100th anniversary of Kyoto's reign as the capital of Japan, Heian-jingu's most recognizable feature is its towering red torii gate. Next visit Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Pavilion). Kinkaku-ji was built to echo the extravagant Kitayama culture that developed in the wealthy aristocratic circles of Kyoto. Later, a visit to Nijō Castle, the former Kyoto residence of the first shogun of the Edo Period. The castle was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Enjoy a local lunch en route to Nara. Upon arrival in Nara visit Tōdai-ji Temple and the surrounding Deer Park. The temple was constructed in 752 as the head temple of all provincial Buddhist temples of Japan. The Daibutsuden (Big Buddha Hall), once held the record as the world's largest wooden building and it houses one of Japan's largest bronze statues of Buddha. Later, drive to Osaka.

Osaka - Bullet Train to Hiroshima - Miyajima Island - Hiroshima Peace Museum - Osaka
After buffet breakfast, transfer to Hiroshima by bullet train. Drive to Miyajima Ferry Pier to embark on a short ferry ride which will bring you to Miyajima Island. See the floating Torii Gates – the second most photographed monument in Japan and see the Itsukushima Jinja Shrine. Take the ferry back to the mainland. Enjoy local lunch. Drive to Hiroshima - the city where time stood still when it was devastated during World War II by the Atom bomb. See the Cenotaph which is a tribute to all those people who died due to the bombing. See the Atom Bomb Dome – the only building that remained after the bombing which has now become the symbol of Hiroshima. Visit the Peace Memorial Museum. Later transfer to Osaka by bullet train.

After buffet breakfast, visit the DMZ (Demilitarised Zone) which is a small area that serves as a buffer zone between South Korea and North Korea. Enjoy local lunch. Drive back to Seoul. Later, experience Kimchi making. Thereafter visit the Ginseng Centre and the Myeongdong shopping street.

Seoul - Guided City Tour
After buffet breakfast, begin the day by visiting Seokchon Lake. Later visit the Cheong Wa Dae - Blue House. It is the Presidential Residence and gets its name from the blue-cyan colored tiles adorning the roof. Later, ride the cable car to N Seoul Tower, and enjoy the view of city from the N Seoul Tower observation deck. Enjoy local lunch. Thereafter, enjoy wearing the traditional Hanbok costume and visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is the largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon dynasty.

- Cost of deviation:In case any clients wish to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure i.e. either travel before the departure date of your tour or would like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable which will be advised to you by our sales team. The same is subject to availability of seats & class for the given dates & ticket validity. Kindly also note, the deviation request is to be made at the time of booking.
- Cost of Transfer:In case clients are arriving or departing at a time that is different from the group arrival/departure time, which will be conveyed to the clients while booking the tour, there will be an additional cost of transfer. The group arrival and departure timings will vary from tour to tour.

OVERSEAS TRAVEL INSURANCE:
It’s very important to find out before you leave whether or not your medical insurance will cover you overseas. Your regular U.S. health insurance may not cover doctors’ and hospital visits in other countries. We recommend clients take overseas travel insurance to cover any eventuality while on tour.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED
- All tours will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full paying passengers traveling together. In case there are less than 25 full paying passengers the clients will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
- Standard check-in at hotels is 1400-1500 hours and check out is 1100-1200 hours.
- The Tour Cost is a combination of all the arrangements and hence cannot be calculated on an individual service basis. Tour cost is one component and not calculated individually.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two different people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- Passengers taking early morning flights will be provided with boxed breakfast.
- Keeping in view the luggage compartments of coaches & Internal Flight regulations, we strongly recommend you to carry only medium size Bag and 1 carryon bag per person.
- The dates and granting of Visas is at the sole discretion of the Embassy or Consulate. Air Tours Holidays is not responsible for granting of visas and are only a facilitator in the visa application process and any situation arising out of delay in granting visa by the consulate/embassy.
- In case you are not able to continue the tour due to loss of passport, theft, illness, or any other life-event beyond our control, Air Tours is not liable to give any refund on unutilized services.
- Please note that in case any clients loses their passport, the cost of getting a new passport and necessary charges to revise the arrangement to return home will be borne by client, and there will be no refund for any unutilized services.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in Schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.
- Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by the Airline. However, we will provide assistance in tracing any lost baggage.
- Air Tours reserves the right to charge any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
- Air Tours reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.
- Please ensure to take the necessary vaccinations and shots depending on the destination you are travelling to.
- There will be no refund on unutilized services or partly utilized services under any circumstances.
- For the convenience of our passengers, Air Tours will sometimes amend the itinerary; however all the other services will remain the same.
- If clients prefer to have meals on their own there will be no refund.
- All hotels may not have Tea or Coffee machines in the room.
- It is strictly not allowed to eat, drink or smoke inside the Coach.
- Coaches may not have any Wi-Fi facilities or USB phone charging options on board.
- Updating of mileage is subject to Airlines terms & conditions in group fare.
- We request the airlines for your preferred seats however this is as per their policy and at their discretion.

- The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason.
- All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable.
- In case of cruises, internal flights, train tickets and visas 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited, in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation.

BOOKING TERMS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to very high and constant demand, as a Tour Operator, we are required to pay non-refundable deposits to secure and block accommodation, entrances to prominent landmarks, train tickets, cruise tickets, internal flight tickets amongst other services to cover all services indicated in the itinerary. For this very reason we are required to take a non-refundable deposit from you for booking the tour.
- Under no circumstances will this deposit be refunded, even in case of any emergency due to which you have to cancel the tour.
- We earnestly urge you to take necessary insurance to cover the cost, in case of any eventuality.

CANCELLATION DUE TO BORDER CLOSURES:
In case we are unable to operate a tour due to Border Closure, Air Tours Holidays LLC will refund the deposit amount after deducting the administrative fees of US$ 100 per person. In the event that the entire tour cost has been paid by you and we in turn have paid our overseas tour operators, after which the tour gets cancelled due to Border Closure, then it is possible that we are not able to get the amount back, then we will try and get the refund or a credit note for a later travel date. Any loss due to the exchange rate will affect the refund amount. The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable. In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation. The company cannot assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the company.
