On arrival, proceed to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, before heading for a city tour of Lima. Visit downtown in the “City of the Kings”, the most important American city during colonial times. Take a walk around the Main Square, where you can find Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and Metropolitan City Hall, beautiful buildings full of history and tradition. Then, discover the San Francisco Monastery, one of the most spectacular churches of colonial Lima. Visit its catacombs and a very fine museum of religious art from the XVII century. The tour goes all the way to the modern district of San Isidro, where you will appreciate Huaca Huallamarca, a pre Incan pyramid made out of adobe, and finish in the touristic district of Miraflores, where you will observe the Pacific Ocean coast from the vast seafront.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (flight cost not included).On arrival, proceed for a delicious local lunch.
Later, head out for a guided city and archeological tour of Cusco. You will visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro market, a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions of modern Cusco. The visit continues with the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Q'enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place. Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city.
Buffet breakfast in your hotel. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from Cusco to the Ollantay tambo station to visit one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos. Then it is back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch in a local restaurant. Finally, you board the train for the return journey and transfer to your hotel.
After a buffet breakfast, you will check out and transfer to the airport for your flight back home (B)

We are liable to pay penalties to all our suppliers/vendors if these services are released within the below mentioned time frame. If circumstances make you cancel the tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing. Such cancellation will attract the following cancellation charges:

In case we are unable to operate a tour due to Border Closure, Airtours Holidays LLC will refund the deposit amount after deducting the administrative fees of USD 100 per person. In the event that the entire tour cost has been paid by you and we in turn have paid our overseas tour operators, after which the tour gets cancelled due to Border Closure, then it is possible that we are not able to get the amount back, then we will try and get the refund or a credit note for a later travel date. Any loss due to the exchange rate will affect the refund amount.
The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable. In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation. The company cannot assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the company.
Single Room Supplement Charges will be applicable in case any of the client cancels the booking of sharing the room together.
