Arrive Cairo, Egypt

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where you will be greeted by our local representative who will assist the group with immigration and customs formalities. Later meet your Tour Manager at the arrival area after clearing customs. Kindly make your own arrangement if you are unable to meet the Tour Manager at the designated time. Transfer by a private coach to your hotel and check-in. (Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs.)

02

Cairo – Pyramids of Giza - Sphinx - Sound and Light Show - Guided City Tour 

After an early buffet breakfast, proceed to the Great Pyramids of Giza. See the Sphinx - constructed with the body of a lion and a human head, meant to guard the Pyramids. Later, visit a perfume factory, papyrus and Egyptian cotton shops. After a local lunch, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. Thereafter, transfer to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Later, enjoy a Sound and Light show at the Pyramids. (In case the Sound and Light Show is not operating at the Pyramids, it will be scheduled at Philae Island, Aswan).

Cairo - Excursion to Alexandria - Cairo

After an early buffet breakfast, drive to Alexandria. Full-day sightseeing of Alexandria including stops at the Catacombs, Roman Theatre, Pompey's Pillar amongst historical sites. See the Citadel of Qaitbay from outside. Enjoy a local lunch. Drive back to Cairo.

Cairo - Flight to Aswan - Visit High Dam - Visit Temple of Philae - River Nile Cruise

After buffet/boxed breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan, proceed on a guided tour to discover The High Dam, which was erected by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flooding of River Nile. Thereafter, enjoy sailing on River Nile by a motor boat to reach Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Graeco-Roman period and was dedicated to goddess Isis. Later see the unfinished Obelisk, which was made out of red granite and was dedicated to Amun-Ra. Later proceed to your cruise and check-in.

05

Excursion to Abu Simbel - Sail to Kom Ombo

Today, proceed on an excursion to Abu Simbel with packed breakfast. Drive to Abu Simbel to visit the temples, which were built by King Ramses II. The biggest temple was called the Great Temple, dedicated to the famous Ra-Horakhty. The smaller temple was dedicated to King Ramses II himself and his wife, Queen Nefertiti. Enjoy a local lunch on board the cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo. Explore the Temple of Kom Ombo where the two gods- Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped. Later, sail to Edfu.

06

Edfu - Visit Temple of Horus - On to Luxor

After a buffet breakfast on board the cruise, proceed on a guided tour of Edfu. Visit the Temple of Horus, which is considered to be one of the most well preserved temples in Egypt. After that, enjoy a local lunch on board the cruise. Later in the evening, sail towards Luxor.

Disembark Cruise - Sightseeing of Luxor

After a buffet breakfast, disembark from the cruise. Later, visit the Karnak Temples Complex. The principal building is dedicated to Amun-Ra, considered the house of god on earth according to Egyptian scriptures. Enjoy an Indian lunch. Later, visit the Valley of Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Luxor Temple. Thereafter, check in to the hotel.

Amman - Guided City Tour

After a buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided city tour. Visit renowned sites and museums including the Archaeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, the Citadel, Amphitheatre amongst other places of interest. After an Indian lunch, visit the famous Rainbow Street. This street is essentially a cluster of numerous shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs, cafes, tea houses, hookah bars and souvenir shops

Amman - Wadi Rum - Enjoy a jeep Safari and a camel ride

After a buffet breakfast, check out and drive to southern Jordan to visit Wadi Rum. Arrive in time for a local lunch. Explore Wadi Rum on a jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Later, enjoy a camel ride. Thereafter, proceed to your tented camp for the night and enjoy a local dinner.

Wadi Rum – Petra – Dead Sea

After buffet breakfast, check out and drive to visit the Nabatean City of Petra, one of the Seven World Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through the 1-km long narrow gorge which is flanked on either side by high cliffs. Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site renowned for the Treasury (Al Khazna) also contains hundreds of elaborate rock-cut tombs, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. After a local lunch, proceed to the Dead Sea and check-in.

Dead Sea – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Dead Sea

After a buffet breakfast, proceed to Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6th century mosaic map of Jerusalem and other spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. See St George’s Church. Later, visit the Moses Memorial Church on Mount Nebo, that houses mosaics dating back to around 530. The basilica is mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the “Promised Land”. Enjoy a local lunch. Later return to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth deep in the Jordan Valley. The Dead Sea is one of the most spectacular natural landscapes and a very rich source of natural salts. Time at leisure at the Dead Sea.

  • Cost of International Air Tickets
  • Cost of deviation: In case any clients wish to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure i.e. either travel before the departure date of your tour or would like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable which will be advised to you by our sales team. The same is subject to availability of seats & class for the given dates & ticket validity. Kindly also note, the deviation request is to be made at the time of booking. 
  • Cost of Transfer: In case clients are arriving or departing at a time that is different from the group arrival/departure time, which will be conveyed to the clients while booking the tour, there will be an additional cost of transfer. The group arrival and departure timings will vary from tour to tour.
  • Cost of visas to travel on the tour.
  • Medical/ Travel insurance. 
  • Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, mini bar, telephone calls, pay channels, cruise shore excursion and any type of beverages in cruise etc. Anything not specified under inclusions.
  • Meals other than what is mentioned in your itinerary 
  • Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in ‘What your tour price includes’.

OVERSEAS TRAVEL INSURANCE:

    It’s very important to find out before you leave whether or not your medical insurance will cover you overseas. Your regular U.S. health insurance may not cover doctors’ and hospital visits in other countries. We recommend clients take overseas travel insurance to cover any eventuality while on tour.  

BOOKING TERMS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. Due to very high and constant demand, as a Tour Operator, we are required to pay non-refundable deposits to secure and block accommodation, entrances to prominent landmarks, train tickets, cruise tickets, internal flight tickets amongst other services to cover all services indicated in the itinerary. For this very reason we are required to take a non-refundable deposit from you for booking the tour.
  2. In view of the above, unfortunately, this deposit cannot be refunded, even in case of any emergency due to which you have to cancel the tour.
  3. We humbly advise you to take necessary insurance to cover the tour cost, in case of any eventuality.

MANDATORY TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Keeping in view the safety of all travelers and as per the requirement of various countries, only fully vaccinated people who have taken the last shot / jab / dose at least 14 days before the travel date will be allowed on the tour.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED

  • All tours will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full paying passengers traveling together. In case there are less than 25 full paying passengers the clients will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
  • Standard check-in at hotels is 1400-1500 hours and check out is 1100-1200 hours.
  • The Tour Cost is a combination of various arrangements and multiple services, and hence cannot be calculated on an individual service basis. The tour cost is one single component and not calculated individually.
  • Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
  • Passengers taking early morning flights will be provided with boxed/packed breakfast.
  • Keeping in view the luggage compartments of coaches, trains & internal flight regulations, we strongly recommend you to carry only medium size luggage and 1 carry-on/cabin bag per person.
  • The granting of Visas is at the sole discretion of the Embassy or Consulate. Air Tours Holidays is not responsible for granting of visas and are only a facilitator in the visa application process and any situation arising out of delay in granting visas by the authorities has to be sorted by the clients.
  • In case you are not able to continue the tour due to loss of passport, theft, illness, or any other life-event beyond our control, Air Tours is not liable to give any refund on unutilized services.
  • Please note that in case any clients loses their passport, the cost of getting a new passport and necessary charges to revise the arrangement to return home will be borne by client, and there will be no refund for any unutilized services.
  • Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in Schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.
  • Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.
  • Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by the Airline. However, we will provide assistance in tracing any lost baggage.
  • Air Tours reserves the right to charge any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
  • Air Tours reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.
  • Please ensure to take the necessary vaccinations and shots depending on the destination you are travelling to.
  • There will be no refund on unutilized services or partly utilized services under any circumstances.
  • For the convenience of our passengers, Air Tours will sometimes amend the itinerary; however all the other services will remain the same.
  • If clients prefer to have meals on their own there will be no refund.
  • All hotels may not have Tea or Coffee machines in the room.
  • It is strictly not allowed to eat, drink or smoke inside the Coach.
  • Coaches may not have any Wi-Fi facilities or USB phone charging options on board.
  • Updating of mileage is subject to Airlines terms & conditions in group fare.
  • We request the airlines for your preferred seats however this is as per their policy and at their discretion.
  • Please refer to the booking form for detailed cancellation policy and ‘Terms and Conditions’.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason.
  • All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable.
  • In case of cruises, internal flights, train tickets and visas 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited, in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation.
  • Airtours Holidays LLC does not assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done by us.
CANCELLATION DUE TO BORDER CLOSURES:

In case we are unable to operate a tour due to Border Closure, Air Tours Holidays LLC will refund the deposit amount after deducting the administrative fees of US$ 100 per person. In the event that the entire tour cost has been paid by you and we in turn have paid our overseas tour operators, after which the tour gets cancelled due to Border Closure, then it is possible that we are not able to get the amount back, then we will try and get the refund or a credit note for a later travel date. Any loss due to the exchange rate will affect the refund amount. The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable. In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation. The company cannot assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the company.
