Pricing & Departure Notes
- As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double bed. There will be no reduction for triple sharing.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two different people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- There could be possibility of flight departure on the previous evening.
- On certain departure dates the itinerary may be operated in reverse order. However, all services and inclusions will remain the same.
Day-wise Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Australia - Melbourne - Guided City Tour
Today, begin your beautiful journey of Australia and New Zealand with Airtours Holidays. After clearing immigration and customs at Melbourne Airport your Tour Manger will receive you outside the arrival area. Later embark on a guided city tour of Melbourne. Visit the 180-year old Royal Botanic Gardens, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. During the tour see the Town Hall, National Tennis Center, the 1956 Olympic Venue, Bourke Street Mall, The Shrine of Remembrance, and the elegant Victorian houses. Thereafter, check-in to the hotel.
Day 02: Guided Tour of Melbourne Cricket Ground - Excursion to Phillip Island
After a buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of Melbourne Cricket Ground. After lunch, drive to Phillip Island and watch The Penguin Parade, dozens of fairy penguins shuffling up from the sea at dusk on their way to the underground burrows. Later, enjoy a local dinner. Drive back to Melbourne.
Day 03: Excursion to Great Ocean Road - Australia’s Most Spectacular Coastal Drive
After a buffet breakfast, get ready to spend the day on the Great Ocean Road. Enjoy the spectacular views of golden surf beaches, sheer cliff faces, and magnificent Eucalyptus trees. The Great Ocean Road hugs the coastline along the entire length of Port Campbell National Park. Considered to be one of the most beautiful drives in Australia, the coastline presents twisted shapes of amazing rock formations, especially the famous 'Twelve Apostles' - huge stone pillars rising from the surf, carved out by the continual force of the sea. En route enjoy a local lunch. Drive back to Melbourne.
Day 04: Melbourne - Flight to Cairns - Visit Kuranda Village
After a boxed/buffet breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairns. On arrival, proceed to Kuranda – a village in the Australian Rainforest. Enjoy a local lunch. Proceed to the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience. Here you will learn about the culture and the traditions of the Aboriginal People. Later, enjoy the Skyrail – a unique rainforest experience taking you on an unforgettable journey through Australia’s world heritage listed Tropical Rainforest. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 05: Full-day Excursion to Great Barrier Reef - Green Island
After a buffet breakfast, proceed to board the catamaran to the Green Island – a Marine National Park with unique rainforests, surrounded by white sandy beaches and magnificent coral reefs.
Green Island is a true coral atoll and is one of the most picturesque island resorts on the Queensland coast. The scenic beauty of the region attracts many visitors. View the spectacular reef from the glass-bottom and semi-submersible vessel. Enjoy a local lunch on board the catamaran. After spending the day at the reef you return with a lifetime of experiences.
Day 06: Cairns - Flight to Sydney
After a boxed/buffet breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival at Sydney Airport transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 07: Guided tour of the Sydney Opera House - Sydney Tower with Lunch - Guided City Tour - Dinner on board the Showboat Cruise
After a buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House. Later, visit the Sydney Tower, the tallest tower in the Southern hemisphere. Enjoy a buffet local lunch at the revolving restaurant on top of the Sydney Tower. Later, proceed on a guided city tour. Tonight on board the Showboat Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a three-course Indian dinner, followed by a spectacular cabaret show, with a cavalcade of glamorous Australian and International artists to entertain you.
Note: The entrance to the Sydney Opera House is subject to no state or council events falling on the same date.
Day 08: Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park - Excursion to Blue Mountain - Scenic World
After a buffet breakfast, visit Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, a renowned wildlife sanctuary home to Australia’s native animals in their natural environment. Thereafter visit Blue Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its steep sandstone cliffs, deep valleys, eucalyptus forests, and the iconic Three Sisters rock formation. Experience Scenic World and enjoy the world's steepest railway, cable car and the iconic Skyway view. Enjoy a local lunch.
Day 09: Arrive Christchurch, New Zealand - Orientation Tour
After a boxed/buffet breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Christchurch. On arrival embark on an orientation tour. Thereafter transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 10: Ride the Tranz Alpine Express - Christchurch to Arthur's Pass - Drive to Franz Josef
After a boxed/buffet breakfast, check-out and board the TranzAlpine Express from Christchurch to Arthur’s Pass. The TranzAlpine train travels through the 'Great Divide' and the indomitable spine of mountains that partitions New Zealand's South Island. Drive to Greymouth. Enjoy an Indian lunch en route to Franz Josef, on arrival check-in to the hotel.
Day 11: Franz Josef - Visit Puzzling World at Wanaka - Onto Queenstown
After a buffet breakfast, check-out and drive to Wanaka via The Haast Pass. Enjoy a local lunch. En route, visit the Puzzling World at Wanaka. With a mix of bizarre buildings, rooms of illusion and the world famous Great Maze, this attraction is designed to challenge minds of all ages with its themes of wonder and trickery. Later, drive to Queenstown.
Day 12: Milford Sound Cruise
After a buffet breakfast, travel via Te Anau through the awe-inspiring Homer Tunnel and the stunning glacier-carved Eglinton Valley to arrive at Milford Sound. Enjoy the unforgettable Milford Sound cruise, which sails right up to the mouth of the Tasman Sea (weather permitting). Enjoy a local lunch on board the cruise. Experience the untouched paradise of Milford Sound and explore the natural wonders and history surrounding the deep fjord. Later drive back to Queenstown.
Day 13: Orientation Tour of Arrowtown - Gondola Ride to Bob's Peak
After a buffet breakfast, emabrk on a city tour of Arrowtown, a historic gold mining town in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand. Later, visit AJ Hackett Kawarau Bungy Centre, home to Bungy Jumping. Thereafter experience a gondola ride, taking you 480 mts up over Lake Wakatipu to the top of Bob’s Peak. Enjoy spectacular views of Coronet Peak, The Remarkable, Walter and Cecil Peak, and, of course, Queenstown. Enjoy a buffet local lunch at Bob's Peak. Evening is at leisure.
Day 14: Queenstown - Flight to Auckland - Visit the Waitomo Glowworm Caves - Onto Rotorua
After a boxed/buffet breakfast check-out and proceed to the airport for your flight to Auckland.
On arrival at Auckland, transfer through the countryside to Waitomo. Visit the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, a series of vast cave systems comprising stalactites and stalagmites, and home to Arachnocampa Luminosa - glowworms endemic to New Zealand. A boat ride reveals delicate cave formations housed in the starry wonderland brought to life by the glowworms. Later drive to Rotorua.
Day 15: Rotorua - Agrodome Farm Show - Whakarewarewa - Te Puia Thermal Reserve
After a buffet breakfast, proceed to Agrodome. Witness a live sheep shearing demonstration and the remarkable farm dogs as they demonstrate their ability to respond to commands and keep those sheep in line. Enjoy a local lunch. Later, visit the geothermal valley of Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and see the famous Pohutu geyser. Visit the Kiwi Conservation Centre, and Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Experience the Haka Cultural performance in the beautifully carved meeting house with traditional welcome (pohiri), song (waiata), poi and haka.
Day 16: Auckland - Orientation Tour - Sky Tower – SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium
After a buffet breakfast, check-out and proceed to Auckland. On arrival, enjoy an orientation tour. Visit the Sky Tower. Standing prominently in Auckland City, the iconic Sky Tower provides a great introduction to the city with panoramic 360 degree views up to 80 kms in every direction. Enjoy a local lunch. Later visit SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium, renowned for its immersive marine exhibits and diverse aquatic life.
Day 17: Farewell!
After Buffet breakfast check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your Australia and New Zealand Tour.

- Cost of deviation: In case any clients wish to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure i.e. either travel before the departure date of your tour or would like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable which will be advised to you by our sales team. The same is subject to availability of seats & class for the given dates & ticket validity. Kindly also note, the deviation request is to be made at the time of booking.
- Cost of Transfer: In case clients are arriving or departing at a time that is different from the group arrival/departure time, which will be conveyed to the clients while booking the tour, there will be an additional cost of transfer. The group arrival and departure timings will vary from tour to tour.

- Medical/ Travel insurance.
- Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, mini bar, telephone calls, pay channels, cruise shore excursion and any type of beverages in cruise etc. Anything not specified under inclusions.

Overseas Travel Insurance
It is very important to find out before you leave whether or not your medical insurance will cover you overseas. Your regular U.S. health insurance may not cover doctors’ and hospital visits in other countries. We recommend clients take overseas travel insurance to cover any eventuality while on tour.
Important Notes
Booking & Cancellation
- Due to very high and constant demand, as a Tour Operator, we are required to pay non-refundable deposits to secure and block accommodation, entrances to prominent landmarks, train tickets, cruise tickets, internal flight tickets amongst other services to cover all services indicated in the itinerary. For this very reason we are required to take a non-refundable deposit from you for booking the tour.<br />
- In view of the above, unfortunately, this deposit cannot be refunded, even in case of any emergency due to which you have to cancel the tour.
- We humbly advise you to take necessary insurance to cover the tour cost, in case of any eventuality.

Notes
- All tours will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full paying passengers traveling together. In case there are less than 25 full paying passengers the clients will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
- Standard check-in at hotels is 1400-1500 hours and check-out is 1100-1200 hours.
- The Tour Cost is a combination of various arrangements and multiple services, and hence cannot be calculated on an individual service basis. The tour cost is one single component and not calculated individually.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- Clients taking early morning flights will be provided with boxed/packed breakfast.
- Keeping in view the luggage compartments of coaches, trains & internal flight regulations, we strongly recommend you to carry only medium size luggage and 1 carry-on/cabin bag per person.
- The granting of Visas is at the sole discretion of the Embassy or Consulate. Air Tours Holidays is not responsible for granting of visas and are only a facilitator in the visa application process. Any inconvenience or situation arising out of delay in granting of visas by the authorities or visa application being rejected has to be resolved by the clients.
- In case you are not able to continue the tour due to loss of passport, medical emergency, any illness, or any other life-event beyond our control, Air Tours is not liable to give any refund for any unutilized services.
- Please note that in case any client loses their passport, the cost of getting a new passport and necessary charges to revise the arrangement to return home will be borne by client, and there will be no refund for any unutilized services.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in flight schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the clients. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.
- Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by your airline. However, we will provide assistance in tracing any lost baggage.
- Air Tours reserves the right to charge additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
- Air Tours reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure/excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.
- Please ensure to take the necessary vaccinations and shots depending on the destination you are travelling to.
- There will be no refund on unutilized services or partly utilized services under any circumstances.
- For the convenience of our passengers, Air Tours will sometimes amend the itinerary; however all the other services will remain the same.
- If clients prefer to have meals on their own while on tour there will be no refund during such instances
- All hotels may not have Tea and Coffee machines, kettles or hairdryers in the room. These can be requested at the front desk.
- It is strictly not allowed to eat, drink or smoke inside the Coach.
- Coaches may not have Wi-Fi facilities or USB phone charging options on board.
- Updating of mileage is subject to airlines terms & conditions for group fares.
- We request the airlines for your preferred seats, however seats are allotted at their discretion.
- Please refer to the Booking Form for detailed Cancellation Policy and ‘Terms and Conditions’.
- The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason.
- All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable in any other currency.
- In case of cruises, internal flights, train tickets and visas 100% of the cost paid will be forfeited, in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation.
- Airtours Holidays LLC does not assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done by us.
