


Day 01: Arrival at Dehradun
Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport, meet your driver and proceed to the hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening join the mandatory tour briefing at 7:00 PM, where final instructions will be shared, duffel bags distributed and passenger weights recorded, a necessary step for safe helicopter operations. Ensure you pack in your duffle bag, only essentials as the helicopter allows maximum of 5 kg per person.

Day 02: Dehradun – Shri Kedarnath ji (Kharsali): Darshan & Local Visits
After breakfast, check-out at 11:15 AM and transfer to Sahastradhara Helidrome. The helicopter departs at 12:30 PM and lands at Sersi around 1:00 PM. From here, the shuttle services flight will ferry you to Kedarnath. Kedarnath darshan generally takes about two hours. (Weather conditions and time permitting) visit Triyuginarayan Temple, the venue of the celestial marriage of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati.

Day 03: Kedarnath — Badrinath: Darshan & Mana Village
After breakfast and an early lunch at Kedarnath. Check-out and proceed to Sersi Heli Base and fly from Sersi around 1:00 PM; reaching Badrinath around 1:30 PM. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Visit the revered Badrinath Temple. Darshan generally takes 1 to 1.5 hours. Later, visit Mana Village, proudly known as the ‘First Village of India’ due to its proximity to the Indo-Tibetan border. Its serene landscape and mythological roots offer a beautiful glimpse into frontier Himalayan life.
For those seeking an elevated spiritual experience, special aartis or poojas such as the Swaran Aarti or Chandi Aarti can be arranged on request (payable directly at Badrinath). Additional vehicle charges apply for these services. Return to the hotel.

Day 04: Badrinath – Dehradun & Farewell!!
After breakfast and lunch. Depart from Badrinath at 1:30 PM and reach Sahastradhara by 2:30 PM. Upon arrival, meet our representative who will assist you in collecting your main luggage from the hotel. Later transfer to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your holiday (B, L)

PACKAGE INCLUSIONS

PASSENGER GUIDELINES
Rates are approximate and subject to availability at the time of booking.
Rates are based on a minimum of 2 passengers traveling together for the entire tour.
Accurate body weight must be provided at the time of booking; discrepancies may lead to denial of boarding. Please submit body weights on the higher side, factoring in clothes and shoes.
Baggage limit is only 5 kg per passenger in the provided duffel bag. Large suitcases/trolleys strictly not allowed.
The helicopter operator may shuffle passengers between helicopters based on weight distribution. Passengers travelling together may not be seated in the same helicopter.
Passengers must attend the mandatory tour briefing at Dehradun on Day 1.
Helicopter departure timing of each destination is fixed; passengers must report as per the scheduled estimated time of departure.
Helicopter timings may change due to weather, valley winds, ATC, NOTAMs or technical conditions.
Shri Kedarnath will be serviced by shuttle flights, and passengers travelling together may be split across flights.
Both temples are at a high altitude, passengers must carry necessary medication.
Sports/trekking shoes and warm clothing are recommended.
Senior citizens and those with medical issues must consult a doctor before travel.
Infants below 2 years (up to 12 kg) travel free; proof of age is mandatory.
Infant weight reduces the total permissible group weight.
Passengers are advised to keep one spare day as a buffer for weather delays.
Meals provided will be vegetarian. Jain meals can be arranged at the hotel if requested at the time of booking.
Network connectivity is limited at Harsil & Badrinath (BSNL/Airtel/Jio work intermittently).
INDEMNITY, LIABILITY & SAFETY
Helicopter operations are subject to weather, ATC clearance, NOTAMs, VVIP movement, technical issues and other force majeure factors.
Airtours Holidays is not liable for delays, diversions, or cancellations beyond operator’s control.
Travel and medical insurance (including high-altitude helicopter coverage) strongly recommended.
Any medical evacuation will be chargeable at INR 1,20,000 (approx. USD 1,396) per flying hour, plus UCADA royalties and landing charges at approx. INR 7,000 (USD 82), and GST at 5% on the total billable amount.
Passengers causing safety concerns (unruly, abusive, intoxicated, medically or mentally unfit) may be denied boarding without refund.
High-altitude travel is not advisable for passengers with cardiac / respiratory issues without medical fitness.
CARRIAGE BY AIR ACT, 1972
The carriage is subject to regulations relating to the conditions of Non-International Carriage (Passenger and Baggage) framed in accordance with The Carriage by Air Act, 1972 and Notification regarding the application of the carriage which is non-international. The liability of the company for damage sustained in the event of the death or wounding of a passenger or any other bodily injury suffered by the passenger or by his registered baggage during the course of carriage by air will be governed by the provisions of sections 4,5,6 and the rules contained in the Second Schedule of Carriage by Air Act 1972 with certain exceptions, adaptations, modifications, etc as notified in the Govt. of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation Notification and as amended from time to time.
HELICOPTER SEAT CAPACITY & WEIGHT LIMITATION
The maximum seating capacity of helicopter is 06 passengers.
The maximum weight limit of the helicopter is 450 kg (excluding baggage weight). Boarding depends on load/temperature; pilot’s decision will be final.
Exceeding the permissible weight may result in offloading/cancellation without refund.
OVERWEIGHT POLICY
Package price is valid for passengers up to 75 kg.
Combined permissible group weight = 75 kg × number of passengers.
Overweight charges: INR 2,500 (approx. USD 29) per kg above the group limit.
Overweight charges if any, must be paid before boarding and are non-refundable.
NATIONAL / STATE EMERGENCY
If the Yatra is called off by the Government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, no refunds will be applicable.
However, passengers will be issued a Credit Voucher equivalent to the advance amount paid. The voucher will remain valid for one year and may be utilized against any Heli Yatra or charter services by the passengers or any of their friends/relatives.
RESCHEDULING POLICY
Date change allowed up to 31 days prior to travel: 10% rescheduling fee.
Date change requested within 31 days: treated as cancellation and 100% cancellation charges applicable.
Rescheduling is subject to availability of flying slots.
CANCELLATION POLICY
60 – 45 days prior departure: 50% cancellation
44 – 31 days prior departure: 75% cancellation
30 days or less / no-show / after commencement of tour: 100% cancellation (no refund)
BAD WEATHER / FORCE MAJEURE POLICY
Includes delays due weather, poor visibility, valley winds, ATC restrictions, NOTAMs, VVIP movement, technical snags.
If flying doesn’t commence on Day 2; 85% refund will be offered.
No compensation or reimbursement for accommodation, transportation, meals, or any other extra travel expenses done by the passengers shall be offered in the event of cancellation of a flight.
No refunds for unutilized services; if passenger refuses revised plan.
Passengers may opt for the next available date at extra cost; unutilized amount can be adjusted.
Revised itineraries will be provided within the original package days; extension will be at extra cost.
Passengers scheduled for new departures take precedence over backlog passengers.
If stuck at Kedarnath due to weather/force majeure, accommodation costs must be paid directly by passengers.
Additional night stays beyond 3N/4D due to weather are payable directly to hotels.
Passengers should keep one additional day buffer at the end of the tour.
Extra helicopter flying (if required) will be chargeable at INR 1,20,000 (approx. USD 1,396) per flying hour, plus UCADA royalties and landing charges at approx. INR 7,000 (USD 82), and GST at 5% on the total billable amount.
Helicopters may not fly to Harsil / Jhalla after 1200 hours due to wind conditions.
If passengers cancel mid-way, ground transportation can be arranged at their own cost; no refund for un-utilized services.
Any increase in government taxes/levies after booking will be extra and must be paid before tour commencement.

Yatra registration (if mandated by government) must be completed by passengers prior to commencement of tour.
DISPUTES
Disputes as to the legality, interpretation, application or performance of service or any of its terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Delhi Jurisdiction.
Bookings will be taken, considering there is acceptance of the above-mentioned terms & conditions by the party.
