Day-wise Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Today, begin your beautiful journey of Cambodia & Vietnam with Airtours Holidays. After clearing immigration and customs transfer to the hotel and check-in.
(Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs).
Day 02: Phnom Penh - Guided Tour - On to Siem Reap
After a buffet breakfast, check-out and begin the guided city tour. See the Independence Monument, Royal Palace (built in 1866), and the Silver Pagoda, that takes its name after the 5000 silver tiles that cover the floor. The Pagoda houses a solid gold Buddha statue and an emerald encrusted Buddha Statue. Stop by Wat Phnom Temple for city views. Enjoy a local lunch before driving to Siem Reap.
Day 03:Full day tour of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat
After buffet breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of the Angkor area. Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom with its iconic stone-carved faces, Bayon Temple, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace, and Terrace of the Leper King. Explore the grand Angkor Wat, a 12th-century marvel spanning 210 hectares, with its galleries, courtyards, and reflecting ponds. Stop by at Ta Prohm, where massive trees and roots intertwine with ancient ruins. Later, enjoy a local lunch.
Day 04: Chong Khneas - Tonle Sap Lake - Flight to Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon - Vietnam
After a buffet breakfast, check-out and visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, 10 km from Siem Reap. Enjoy a traditional boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, one of Asia’s largest. Then visit "Les Artisans d'Angkor," where young Cambodians are trained in traditional art of stone and wood sculptures. Enjoy a local lunch. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Saigon, Vietnam. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 05:Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – City Sightseeing
After a buffet breakfast, explore the highlights of the city. Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a 200 km underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnamese War. Enjoy a local lunch, later visit the Mariamman Hindu Temple and the Sri Thendayutthapani Temple. See the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office.
Green Island is a true coral atoll and is one of the most picturesque island resorts on the Queensland coast. The scenic beauty of the region attracts many visitors. View the spectacular reef from the glass-bottom and semi-submersible vessel. Enjoy a local lunch on board the catamaran. After spending the day at the reef you return with a lifetime of experiences.
Day 06: Saigon - My Tho – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An
After a buffet breakfast, check-out and transfer to the outskirts of Saigon to tour the beautiful countryside. Start at the tourist boat station (My Tho), from where you will be cruising on the River Tien (Mekong) to see four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix. Visit the floating market and fish-craft village along River Tien. Stop at Thoi Son Island and take a rowing boat to soak in the country side. Visit a honey-bee farm and enjoy honey-tea. Stop at Phoenix Island to visit Coconut Monk Temple and Crocodile-pond. Enjoy a local lunch. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, drive to Hoi An and check-into your hotel.
Day 07: Guided tour of the Sydney Opera House - Sydney Tower with Lunch - Guided City Tour - Dinner on board the Showboat Cruise
After a buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House. Later, visit the Sydney Tower, the tallest tower in the Southern hemisphere. Enjoy a buffet local lunch at the revolving restaurant on top of the Sydney Tower. Later, proceed on a guided city tour. Tonight on board the Showboat Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a three-course Indian dinner, followed by a spectacular cabaret show, with a cavalcade of glamorous Australian and International artists to entertain you.
Note: The entrance to the Sydney Opera House is subject to no state or council events falling on the same date.
Day 08: Hoi An - Ba Na Hills - On to Hue
After a buffet breakfast, check-out and visit Marble Mountain, a cluster of limestone hills representing the five elements (Kim – metal; Moc – wood; Thuy – water; Hoa – fire; Tho – earth). Then ride the cable car to Ba Na Hills. Stop at By Night Station to explore Vong Nguyet Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, and old French villas. Continue to Nui Chua Mountain to see Nginh Phong Top, Le Nim Villas, and the Orchid Garden. Later see the Debay Wine Cellar and Le Jardin D’Amour. Walk along the iconic Golden Bridge for stunning views of Da Nang. Enjoy a local lunch. Thereafter drive to Hue.
Day 09: Hue - Guided City Tour
After a buffet breakfast, take a boat trip on Perfume River. Later, visit Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu pagoda and the Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc - one of the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. Enjoy a local lunch. Then visit the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Evening free at leisure at Dong Ba Market.
Day 10: Hue - Flight to Hanoi - Guided City Tour - Enjoy a Water Puppet show
After buffet/boxed breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Enjoy a local lunch. Later visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology highlighting the 54 officially recognised ethnic groups. See the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple. In the evening, enjoy a Water Puppet Performance.
Day 11: Hanoi – Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi
After a buffet/boxed breakfast, embark on scenic drive through the green fields and villages to Hoa Lu, the 11th century capital of Vietnam. Visit the Dinh & Le Dynasty temples and learn about Vietnam’s war with China. Enjoy a local lunch. Later take a boat ride along a canal through rice fields and the Tam Coc caves (Hang Ca, Hang 2, and Hang 3). Return to the hotel.
Day 12: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay cruise
After breakfast, check-out and drive to the pier. At the pier board a high speed boat that will take you to the Ha Long Bay Cruise. Enjoy a local lunch, as the the cruise sails towards Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy a scenic journey along the Bay's rock formations and floating villages. Later visit Ba Trai Dao area and see the Dark and Bright caves (weather permitting). Thereafter enjoy a traditional Vietnamese buffet dinner. The evening’s entertainment includes fishing and karaoke.
Day 13: Ha Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay – Hanoi
Witness the beauty of the Ha Long nature-swept ecosystem as the sun rise over Lan Ha Bay. Later enjoy a buffet breakfast while sailing along the bay. Enjoy a local brunch on board as the cruise heads towards the Tuan Chau Harbor. Disembark from the cruise and drive to Hanoi Upon arrival in Hanoi, check-into your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 14: Farewell !!!
After buffet/boxed breakfast, check-out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your tour.
