Day 01:
Arrive Beijing, China
Arrive at Beijing Airport where you will be met by your Tour Manager at the arrival area after clearing immigration and customs. Then check-in to the hotel. (Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs.

Day 02:
Guided City Tour – Visit the Tiananmen Square – Visit the Forbidden City – Visit the Yonghe Lamasery
After a buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided city tour with an English speaking local guide. Visit Tiananmen Square, Beijing’s central landmark, home to the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, and Mao Zedong’s Mausoleum. Later, explore the Forbidden City, and see the Imperial Palace of 24 Ming and Qing emperors and China’s political center for over 500 years. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, it remains a symbol of China’s rich history. After a local lunch, proceed to the Yonghe Lamasery also known as Harmony and Peace Palace Lamasery. Initially built in 1694 during the Qing Dynasty, the status of the dwelling was changed to a lamasery in 1744. Later, visit a pearl factory also called as Hongqiao Market, located in the south-central area of Beijing, east of the Temple of Heaven. Later, proceed to the Temple Of Heaven, the largest existing masterpiece among China’s ancient sacrificial buildings. In 1988, it was opened to the public as a park. Later stroll down the famous Hutongs narrow streets or alleys commonly associated with northern Chinese cities. Since the early 21st century, many hutongs have been designated as protected areas and zones, in an attempt to preserve this aspect of Chinese cultural history.

Day 03:
Visit the Great Wall of China – Visit the Summer Palace
After a buffet breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the Great Wall of China. The largest man-made project in the world, is a series of ancient fortifications built in northern China. This long wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 21,196 Km across the breadth of China. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987 and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Wall is an unparalleled architectural feat with historical significance. After a local lunch, visit the Summer Palace which is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing.The Summer Palace, which is inspired by the gardens of southern China, covers an expanse of 2.9 square Km.

Day 04:
Beijing – Bullet train to Xi’an – Xi’an City Wall – Experience The Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show
After a buffet breakfast, check out and proceed to the train station to board the bullet train to Xi’an, the ancient capital of China for 11 dynasties. Enjoy a packed local lunch. Visit the Xi’an City Wall also known as the Fortifications of Xi’an. It is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well as being one of the largest ancient military defense systems in the world. Tonight experience the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show, an immersive performance that displays the essence of music and dance forms of the Tang Dynasty.

Day 05:
Visit Wild Goose Pagoda – Visit the Terracotta Army Museum
After a buffet breakfast, visit the Wild Goose Pagoda originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty ,meant to showcase Buddhist materials that were brought from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. As the symbol of ancient Xi’an, Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Enjoy a local lunch, Later visit the Terracotta Army Museum, a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE with the purpose of protecting him in his afterlife.

Day 06:
Xi’an – Bullet train to Chongqing – Board the Yangtze River Cruise
After a buffet breakfast, check out and board bullet train from Xi’an to Chongqing. Enjoy a packed lunch. Arrive In Chongqing which served as the wartime capital for the Republic of China during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Enjoy dinner and then board the Victoria cruise ship.

Day 07:
Excursion to Fengdu ‘The city of ghosts’
After Breakfast on board, begin the Yangtze River cruise, Asia’s largest and the third-longest river in the world, Yangtze, meaning ‘long river’, is vital for its diverse wildlife and economic contributions. Disembark for a shore excursion in Fengdu, the “City of Ghosts,” blending Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism with supernatural folklore. According to chinese mythology Fengdu is said to be the place where souls face their tests in the afterlife.

Day 08:
Qutang Gorge – Visit White Emperor City
After Breakfast on board. Visit White Emperor City A historic hilltop city near Qutang Gorge, known as the “City of Poems” for its ancient temples, relics,. Back to the cruise and sail through Qutang Gorge, It stretches for about 8 Km and is known for its steep cliffs, narrow passages, and breathtaking scenery. The gorge is located in Chongqing Municipality, near Fengjie County. After a local lunch, take in the beautiful scenery as we sail through Wu Gorge, which spans 44 km. Arrive at Wushan, and transfer to a sightseeing boat to explore Shennü stream or Goddess Stream. See the Sleeping Beauty Stone, and a small cave tomb. Later enjoy onboard activities.

Day 09:
Three Gorges Dam – Fly to Shanghai
After a buffet breakfast disembark and proceed to see the Three Gorges Dam, it is a hydroelectric gravity dam that spans the Yangtze River near Sandouping in Yiling District It is the world’s largest power station. The dam’s body was completed in 2006 and the power plant became fully operational in 2012. The dam increased the Yangtze River’s shipping capacity and is a social and economic success. Enjoy a local lunch, later proceed to the Yichang airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival proceed to the hotel and check in.

Day 10:
Shanghai – Visit the Jade Buddha Temple – The Bund – Huangpu River Cruise
After a buffet breakfast, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, built in 1882 to house two jade Buddha statues brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. Despite being damaged during the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the temple remains a cultural gem. The two Buddha statues are crafted from crystal-clear white jade. After a local lunch, take a stroll through Yuyuan Gardens, a famous classical garden from the Ming Dynasty, known for its exquisite design and zigzag bridges. Later, visit the Bund, the vibrant waterfront along the Hunagpu River, with a total length of 113 kms, the river runs through 10 districts in the city. It is regarded as the Mother River of Shanghai, serving multiple functions including drinking water, shipping, drainage, fishery and tourism. Tonight experience a scenic cruise on the Huangpu River.

Day 11:
Explore Nanjing Road – Acrobatic Show
After a buffet breakfast, spend the day exploring Shanghai located on
the southern estuary of the Yangtze River. Originally a fishing village, Shanghai grew in importance in the 19th century due to both domestic and foreign trade and its favorable port location. The city features several architectural styles such as Art Deco and shikumen, and is renowned for its Lujiazui skyline, museums and historic buildings, along the Bund. Enjoy a local lunch before walking along the famous Nanjing Road. Tonight enjoy a spectacular Acrobatic Show, a typical acrobatic performance using traditional folk art to tell historical tales of Shanghai.
