Pricing & Departure Notes
- As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double bed. There will be no reduction for triple sharing.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two different people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- There could be possibility of flight departure on the previous evening.
- On certain departure dates the itinerary may be operated in reverse order. However, all services and inclusions will remain the same.
Day-wise Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
customs at the Airport your Tour Manger will receive you outside the arrival area. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. (Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs).
Day 02: Corcovado Mountain - Christ the Redeemer - Sugarloaf Mountain
After a buffet breakfast, a memorable experience awaits you as you drive to one of the older parts of Rio called Cosme Velho. From here you will take a modern Swiss-made cog-wheel train to Corcovado Mountain, home to the world famous Christ the Redeemer statue; one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy a local lunch. Later, proceed to Sugarloaf Mountain, located in the Urca neighbourhood. A two-stage cable car takes you to the top of the summit, first arriving at Urca Hill, and then continuing to the top of Sugarloaf, reaching a height of 1,295 feet (395m) from where you will enjoy splendid views of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The evening is at leisure at Copacabana Beach
Day 03: Tijuca Forest and Botanical Garden
After a buffet breakfast, visit the Botanical Garden and see the Brazilwood tree (the country derives its name from this tree). Walk through the garden admiring the silent giants - some of the trees have been around for over a century. Then, visit the "Vista Chinesa" and enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro with mountains, forest and the ocean in one glimpse. The structure was built in the early 20th century as a tribute to the Chinese immigrants who brought tea cultivation to Brazil. On a clear day you can also see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. Enjoy a local lunch. Afterwards, proceed to Tijuca National Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world. See the Taunay Waterfall and experience the flora and fauna as you drive through the forest path. Later pass by the famous São Conrado beach to see the hang gliders and para-gliders.
Day 04: Rio de Janeiro - Flight to Foz do Iguaçu - Visit Iguaçu Falls (Brazilian side) - On to Iguazú (Argentina)
After a buffet/boxed breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguaçu (Brazilian side). Upon arrival, drive to the National Park. Located on the west-end of the River Paraná , the huge tropical rain forest is a World Heritage Site. It is one of the largest forest reserves in South America. Countless flora and fauna species call it home. You can admire the majestic Iguaçu Falls from the Salto Floreano viewpoint. After a local lunch, drive to the border and cross into Argentina. Later, check into your hotel.
Day 05: Iguazú - Visit Iguazú Falls (Argentinian side)
After a buffet breakfast, proceed on a full day tour of the Argentinian side of the Iguazú Falls. The Iguazú National Park - bears the name of the River Iguazú, which means "Great Waters" in the Guarani language. The majestic Iguazú Waterfalls are surrounded by a lush subtropical rainforest, and with roughly 275 distinct falls, they are considered the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. We will first visit the Lower circuit refreshing ourselves with a light drizzle. On the Upper circuit, we will stop at different viewpoints, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). This is the most breathtaking site along the entire walkway: the canyon is about 90 metres wide and water gushes down from a height of 80 meters. After a local lunch, gear up for the Great Adventure tour. Drive on safari trucks into the vast wilderness accompanied by a forest guide. At the end of the drive we will climb down the steps to the pier to board the boat and sail the rapids to the San Martin Falls. The boat sails to the outer edge of the falls with the cascading water right in front of you.
IMPORTANT: We recommend clients carry a towel and an extra pair of clothes because during the Great Adventure tour everyone gets drenched.
Guests with the following conditions are not recommended to ride the Great Adventure Tour:

People unable to handle a nautical emergency on the lower River Iguazú
Day 06: Iguazú - Flight to Buenos Aires - Tango Show
After a buffet/boxed breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, proceed for a local lunch. Later, visit the first settlement of Buenos Aires, which includes the picturesque neighbourhood of San Telmo, where the city's aristocracy lived until the late 19th century, and Caminito Street in the Italian neighbourhood of La Boca, by the Puerto Madero waterfront. Later, get set for a fun evening as you experience a Tango Show. Tango Porteño recreates the golden age of the 1940s; an era when Tango reigned supreme and was synonymous with Buenos Aires.
Day 07: Buenos Aires - Tigre Delta - Guided City Tour
After a buffet breakfast, proceed north to the Tigre Delta, about 30 km away from Buenos Aires, and one of the largest deltas in the world. En route take a photo-stop at San Isidro, one of the most affluent suburbs in Buenos Aires. Step inside the San Isidro Cathedral before heading to Tigre. At the Tigre pier, embark on a cruise on the Delta. Witness the locals who live on the shores of the delta, view the beautiful riverside villas, and traditional rowing and boating clubs. For more than 100 years, the maze of rivers and channels of the Tigre Delta have been a favorite weekend getaway for "porteños". Upon returning to the pier, enjoy a local lunch. Later, return to Buenos Aires and embark on a guided tour to discover the charm of Argentina's capital, from the chic districts of Recoleta and Palermo to historic Plaza de Mayo, and architectural icons such as the Colon Opera House, the Metropolitan Cathedral and El Ateneo - considered the second most beautiful bookshop in the world.
Day 08: Farewell !!
After buffet/boxed breakfast, check-out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your tour.
Day 08: Buenos Aires - Flight to Lima, Perú - Guided City Tour
After a buffet/boxed breakfast, check-out and proceed to the airport for your flight to Lima. Arrive Lima – Capital of Perú. Embark on guided city tour of Lima - known as The City Of Kings. Begin with a photo-stop at Parque del Amor overlooking the Lima Bay Area. Enjoy an Indian lunch. Continue with the city tour by visiting the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, before heading to the Historic Center. Walk along some of the important historical streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas. The city tour winds up with a visit to the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo.
Day 09: Lima - Larco Museum - Flight to Cusco
After a buffet breakfast, check-out and visit the Larco Museum; one of the most exquisite museums in Latin America, where the Treasures of Ancient Perú are housed. This impressive collection guides visitors through 5000 years of Ancient Perú's history. Also see the striking ceramic pieces from the Moche culture, which thanks to its particular characteristics is known as “erotic pottery”. Later, experience a traditional Perúvian lunch. Thereafter, drive to the airport for your flight to Cusco. On arrival in Cusco, transfer to your hotel and relax. Tonight you will acclimatise yourself to the high-altitude environment of Cusco.
Day 10: Cusco - Excursion to Machu Picchu - Cusco
After a buffet breakfast, drive to the Ollantaytambo station to board the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. From here, drive towards Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy a local lunch. Visit the archaeological site for an unforgettable experience, with a local tour guide who will introduce you to the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Later, return to Aguas Calientes to board the train to Ollantaytambo station. Drive back to Cusco.
Day 11: Cusco Guided Tour - El Coricancha - Sacsayhuamán Fortress Ruins - San Pedro Market
After a buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City. Visit the El Coricancha Temple, an ancient Inca Palace and centre of worship to the Sun God. The Order of the Dominicans built a church over El Coricancha, which remains standing to this day. Visit the Sacsayhuamán Fortress ruins where important Inca ceremonies took place. Thereafter, drive to the Plaza de Armas (main square) and enjoy a local lunch. Later, visit the Cusco Cathedral, a historically important religious building in the city, and end the day with a visit to the iconic San Pedro market - a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions of Cusco.
Day 12: Farewell!
After buffet/boxed breakfast, check-out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your tour.

- Cost of deviation: In case any clients wish to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure i.e. either travel before the departure date of your tour or would like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable which will be advised to you by our sales team. The same is subject to availability of seats & class for the given dates & ticket validity. Kindly also note, the deviation request is to be made at the time of booking.
- Cost of Transfer: In case clients are arriving or departing at a time that is different from the group arrival/departure time, which will be conveyed to the clients while booking the tour, there will be an additional cost of transfer. The group arrival and departure timings will vary from tour to tour.
- Cost of visas to travel on the tour.
- Medical/ Travel insurance.
- Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, mini bar, telephone calls, pay channels, cruise shore excursion and any type of beverages in cruise etc. Anything not specified under inclusions.

Overseas Travel Insurance
It is very important to find out before you leave whether or not your medical insurance will cover you overseas. Your regular U.S. health insurance may not cover doctors’ and hospital visits in other countries. We recommend clients take overseas travel insurance to cover any eventuality while on tour.
Important Notes
Booking & Cancellation
- Due to very high and constant demand, as a Tour Operator, we are required to pay non-refundable deposits to secure and block accommodation, entrances to prominent landmarks, train tickets, cruise tickets, internal flight tickets amongst other services to cover all services indicated in the itinerary. For this very reason we are required to take a non-refundable deposit from you for booking the tour.<br />
- In view of the above, unfortunately, this deposit cannot be refunded, even in case of any emergency due to which you have to cancel the tour.
- We humbly advise you to take necessary insurance to cover the tour cost, in case of any eventuality.

Notes
- All tours will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full paying passengers traveling together. In case there are less than 25 full paying passengers the clients will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
- Standard check-in at hotels is 1400-1500 hours and check-out is 1100-1200 hours.
- The Tour Cost is a combination of various arrangements and multiple services, and hence cannot be calculated on an individual service basis. The tour cost is one single component and not calculated individually.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- Clients taking early morning flights will be provided with boxed/packed breakfast.
- Keeping in view the luggage compartments of coaches, trains & internal flight regulations, we strongly recommend you to carry only medium size luggage and 1 carry-on/cabin bag per person.
- The granting of Visas is at the sole discretion of the Embassy or Consulate. Air Tours Holidays is not responsible for granting of visas and are only a facilitator in the visa application process. Any inconvenience or situation arising out of delay in granting of visas by the authorities or visa application being rejected has to be resolved by the clients.
- In case you are not able to continue the tour due to loss of passport, medical emergency, any illness, or any other life-event beyond our control, Air Tours is not liable to give any refund for any unutilized services.
- Please note that in case any client loses their passport, the cost of getting a new passport and necessary charges to revise the arrangement to return home will be borne by client, and there will be no refund for any unutilized services.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in flight schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the clients. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.
- Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by your airline. However, we will provide assistance in tracing any lost baggage.
- Air Tours reserves the right to charge additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
- Air Tours reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure/excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.
- Please ensure to take the necessary vaccinations and shots depending on the destination you are travelling to.
- There will be no refund on unutilized services or partly utilized services under any circumstances.
- For the convenience of our passengers, Air Tours will sometimes amend the itinerary; however all the other services will remain the same.
- If clients prefer to have meals on their own while on tour there will be no refund during such instances
- All hotels may not have Tea and Coffee machines, kettles or hairdryers in the room. These can be requested at the front desk.
- It is strictly not allowed to eat, drink or smoke inside the Coach.
- Coaches may not have Wi-Fi facilities or USB phone charging options on board.
- Updating of mileage is subject to airlines terms & conditions for group fares.
- We request the airlines for your preferred seats, however seats are allotted at their discretion.

- The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason.
- All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable in any other currency.
- In case of cruises, internal flights, train tickets and visas 100% of the cost paid will be forfeited, in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation.
- Airtours Holidays LLC does not assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done by us.
