




Day 1: Arrive Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park
Upon arrival in Guwahati transfer to Kaziranga, an ancient region on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Visit Kaziranga National Park, the oldest park in Assam, world-renowned for the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros. Later check-in to the hotel

Day 2: Kaziranga National Park
After breakfast, enjoy an Elephant Safari (subject to weather conditions) followed by a visit to the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a Jeep Safari through the park.

Day 3: Kaziranga – Shillong
After breakfast, check-out and drive to Shillong, the “Abode of Clouds”, known for its waterfalls, rolling hills, and vibrant local culture. En route, enjoy a boat ride on Umiam Lake (subject to weather conditions), one of the largest artificial lakes in Meghalaya. Arrive in Shillong and check-in to the hotel.

Day 4: Shillong – Cherrapunji (Sohra) – Shillong
After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunji (Sohra), once the wettest place on Earth. En route, photo-stop at Elephant Falls. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall; Seven Sisters Falls, a spectacular seven-segment waterfall plunging from the cliffs of the Khasi Hills; and the Ram Krishna Mission, founded on the teachings of Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Swami Vivekananda. Later return to Shillong.

Day 5: Shillong – Mawlynnong Village – Dawki – Shillong
After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong. Visit the remarkable Riwai Living Root Bridge, an ingenious creation of nature and human skill. Climb to the Sky View Point — a bamboo structure offering panoramic views over the Bangladesh plains — and see the Balancing Rock, a natural geological marvel. Stroll through the flower-lined pathways of Mawlynnong to experience its serene lifestyle. Later, continue to Dawki famous for the crystal-clear Umngot River. Enjoy a wooden boat ride (subject to weather conditions). Please note that roadwork in the Dawki area may cause uneven stretches.

Day 6: Shillong – Guwahati
After breakfast, check-out and visit the Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays), one of Asia’s largest museums of indigenous cultures. The seven-story museum offers fascinating exhibits on the art, attire, tools, and lifestyle of Northeast India’s diverse tribes, with a skywalk at the top offering panoramic views of Shillong. Continue to Guwahati, and enjoy a river cruise on the Brahmaputra River (subject to weather conditions), offering panoramic views of the riverbanks and hills.

Day 7: Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast, check-out and visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most sacred Shakti Peethas dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya. Located atop Nilachal Hill, the temple is renowned for its unique architecture and ancient stone carvings. Later, transfer to the airport your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your tour. (B)

Note:
· Rates are based on a minimum of 2 passengers traveling together for the entire tour.
· Roads in Assam and Meghalaya especially in remote areas may be uneven. Maintenance work is common throughout the year.
· Weather in the Northeast is unpredictable; it is advisable to carry rain gear.
· Final confirmation of certain services like Jeep safari in wildlife reserves / national parks are confirmed by the forest department only one day prior; safaris may be cancelled at the last minute due to weather, excessive rainfall, VVIP movement, animal census, or other reasons. If a particular experience is not provided for these reasons, the charges for the same will be refunded.
· Elephant rides are subject to forest department approval normally confirmed one day prior. Incase of cancellations, refund will be provided.
· Use of plastic items is prohibited in national parks.
· Itinerary may change due to weather or local unforeseen events.
· Air-conditioning does not operate during hill drives.
· Community photography fees may apply in villages and need to be paid directly by guests
· Museums and sightseeing spots in Assam and Meghalaya may remain closed on government and local holidays without prior notice. On Sundays, markets and entertainment venues in Meghalaya may remain closed.
· November and December are peak season in this region; blocking for an English-speaking guide is recommended 2–3 months in advance.
· Local naturalists in national parks / wildlife sanctuaries may have limited English fluency
· Rates not valid during Cherry Blossom Festival (Nov), Christmas, New Year, long weekends or local public holidays.
· There will be no refund on unutilized services or partly utilized services unless mentioned otherwise under any circumstances.
