Pricing & Departure Notes
- As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double bed. There will be no reduction for triple sharing.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two different people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- There could be possibility of flight departure on the previous evening.
- On certain departure dates the itinerary may be operated in reverse order. However, all services and inclusions will remain the same.
Day-wise Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Reykjavik, Iceland
Today, begin your journey of Iceland with Airtours Holidays. After clearing immigration and customs at Keflavik Airport your Tour Manger will receive you outside the arrival area. (Kindly make your own arrangement if you are unable to meet the Tour Manager at the designated time). Transfer to Reykjavik and visit the Blue Lagoon. Enjoy a local lunch. Later, proceed on a guided tour of Reykjavik covering Harpa Concert House, City Hall, Parliament House. Photo-stop at the Hallgrimskirkja Church. Thereafter, experience Flyover Iceland. Later transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 02: Reykjavik – Thingvellir – Geysir – Gullfoss – Hvolsvöllur
After buffet breakfast, check-out and enjoy the Golden Circle tour. Experience three of Iceland’s renowned attractions. Thingvellir National Park is located along the boundary of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. The spectacle of the continents drifting apart is clearly visible in the landscape. It is also a place of great historical importance being the site of the ancient Icelandic parliament, Alþingi, which was established in 930 AD. At the Geysir geothermal area there are several different hot springs, amongst them is the Strokkur, an active hot spring that sends a column of boiling water high into the air every 5-10 minutes. Next experience Gullfoss, a majestic waterfall in the canyon of the Hvítá River which in plunges more than 30 meters into a deep crevice. It is considered by many as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Later, enjoy lunch at Fridheimar Green House. Transfer to Hvolsvöllur and check-in.
Day 03 : Hvolsvöllur – Reynisfjara - Laki
After buffet breakfast, check-out and drive towards South Iceland. Take photo-stops at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Thereafter, visit the Sólheimasandur Plane Wreck - the grey fuselage standing in stark contrast to the black sand beach. After a local lunch, proceed towards Reynisfjara - the Black Sand Beach. Transfer to Laki and check-in.
Day 04 : Laki – Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon – Skaftafell – Jokulsarlon & Vatnajokull
After buffet breakfast check-out and see Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon which was created by progressive erosion by water flowing from glaciers through the rocks over a long period of time. Visit Skaftafell National Park, one of Iceland's most outstanding areas of natural beauty. Continue to the stunning Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon to see floating icebergs. Enjoy magnificent views of the Vatnajökull Glacier. Enjoy a Amphibian Boat Ride. Transfer to Djúpivogur and check-in.
Day 05 : Lake Myvatn - Akureyri
After buffet breakfast check-out and drive to Lake Myvatn, which is situated in the middle of a spectacular volcanic area that is surrounded by wonderful sights created through the ages by the geological forces. Here you will see Skútustaðagígar craters, Dimmuborgir volcanic formations, Hverfjall and Krafla volcanic craters. Transfer to Akureyri and check-in.
Day 06: Siglufjörður - Glaumbær Museum - Blönduós
After buffet breakfast, check-out and continue your journey through Road 76 on the western part of the Trollaskagi Peninsula. It is one of the most scenic landscapes in Iceland. See Siglufjordur Marina Village and Harbor, Trollaskagi Lighthouse, Grafarkirkja. Visit the Glaumbær and Skagafjordur Heritage Museum. Transfer to Blönduós and check-in.
Day 07: Hraunfossar – Borgarnes - Barnafoss— Reykholt
After buffet breakfast, check-out and continue your journey to Borgarnes. Visit Barnafoss and Hraunfossar. En route to Reykholt take a photo-stop at Deildartunguhver Hot Springs. Transfer to Reykholt and check-in.
Day 08: Reykholt to Reykjavik
After buffet breakfast, check-out and drive to Reykjavik. En route, proceed to Húsafell for the “Into the Glacier” tour, where you will experience the man-made ice tunnels inside Langjökull Glacier, one of Iceland’s most unique attractions. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Day 09: Farewell!
After buffet/boxed breakfast, check out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your tour.

- IMPORTANT NOTE : WATER
- In an effort to conserve water and reduce plastic waste, the local agents give only 1 bottle of water for the entire tour to each guest. This bottle can be refilled throughout as water in Iceland is potable. However, if the guests still insist on 2 bottles of water per day, then the supplement cost for the same will be US$ 40 per person. Water will not be provided on the day of departure from Iceland.
- COST OF INTERNATIONAL AIR TICKETS
- Cost of deviation: In case any clients wish to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure i.e. either travel before the departure date of your tour or would like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable which will be advised to you by our sales team. The same is subject to availability of seats & class for the given dates & ticket validity. Kindly also note, the deviation request is to be made at the time of booking.
- Cost of Transfer: In case clients are arriving or departing at a time that is different from the group arrival/departure time, which will be conveyed to the clients while booking the tour, there will be an additional cost of transfer. The group arrival and departure timings will vary from tour to tour.
- Cost of visas to travel on the tour.
- Medical/ Travel insurance.
- Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, mini bar, telephone calls, pay channels, cruise shore excursion and any type of beverages in cruise etc. Anything not specified under inclusions.
- Meals other than what is mentioned in your itinerary
- Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in ‘What your tour price includes’
- Departure taxes except where included.

Indian Passport with Green Card : Tourist Schengen Visa Required

Overseas Travel Insurance
It is very important to find out before you leave whether or not your medical insurance will cover you overseas. Your regular U.S. health insurance may not cover doctors’ and hospital visits in other countries. We recommend clients take overseas travel insurance to cover any eventuality while on tour.
Important Notes
Booking & Cancellation
- Due to very high and constant demand, as a Tour Operator, we are required to pay non-refundable deposits to secure and block accommodation, entrances to prominent landmarks, train tickets, cruise tickets, internal flight tickets amongst other services to cover all services indicated in the itinerary. For this very reason we are required to take a non-refundable deposit from you for booking the tour.<br />
- In view of the above, unfortunately, this deposit cannot be refunded, even in case of any emergency due to which you have to cancel the tour.
- We humbly advise you to take necessary insurance to cover the tour cost, in case of any eventuality.

Notes
- All tours will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full paying passengers traveling together. In case there are less than 25 full paying passengers the clients will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
- Standard check-in at hotels is 1400-1500 hours and check-out is 1100-1200 hours.
- The Tour Cost is a combination of various arrangements and multiple services, and hence cannot be calculated on an individual service basis. The tour cost is one single component and not calculated individually.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- Clients taking early morning flights will be provided with boxed/packed breakfast.
- Keeping in view the luggage compartments of coaches, trains & internal flight regulations, we strongly recommend you to carry only medium size luggage and 1 carry-on/cabin bag per person.
- The granting of Visas is at the sole discretion of the Embassy or Consulate. Air Tours Holidays is not responsible for granting of visas and are only a facilitator in the visa application process. Any inconvenience or situation arising out of delay in granting of visas by the authorities or visa application being rejected has to be resolved by the clients.
- In case you are not able to continue the tour due to loss of passport, medical emergency, any illness, or any other life-event beyond our control, Air Tours is not liable to give any refund for any unutilized services.
- Please note that in case any client loses their passport, the cost of getting a new passport and necessary charges to revise the arrangement to return home will be borne by client, and there will be no refund for any unutilized services.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in flight schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the clients. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.
- Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by your airline. However, we will provide assistance in tracing any lost baggage.
- Air Tours reserves the right to charge additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
- Air Tours reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure/excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.
- Please ensure to take the necessary vaccinations and shots depending on the destination you are travelling to.
- There will be no refund on unutilized services or partly utilized services under any circumstances.
- For the convenience of our passengers, Air Tours will sometimes amend the itinerary; however all the other services will remain the same.
- If clients prefer to have meals on their own while on tour there will be no refund during such instances
- All hotels may not have Tea and Coffee machines, kettles or hairdryers in the room. These can be requested at the front desk.
- It is strictly not allowed to eat, drink or smoke inside the Coach.
- Coaches may not have Wi-Fi facilities or USB phone charging options on board.
- Updating of mileage is subject to airlines terms & conditions for group fares.
- We request the airlines for your preferred seats, however seats are allotted at their discretion.
- Please refer to the Booking Form for detailed Cancellation Policy and ‘Terms and Conditions’.
- The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason.
- All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable in any other currency.
- In case of cruises, internal flights, train tickets and visas 100% of the cost paid will be forfeited, in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation.
- Airtours Holidays LLC does not assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done by us.
