DAY 01

Welcome to Geneva – Montreux / Vevey / Lausanne

Today, begin your beautiful journey of Switzerland with Airtours Holidays. After clearing immigration and customs at Geneva Airport your Tour Manager will receive you outside the arrival area. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. (Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs). Later proceed on an orientation tour of Geneva where the River Rhone flows out of Lake Geneva. See the European Headquarters of the United Nations, the International Red Cross Building and the magnificent Jet d’Eau – a majestic fountain that shoots up to about 140 mts. (weather permitting).

DAY 02

Visit Zermatt – Gornergrat Mountain

After a buffet breakfast, get set for an amazing Alpine experience. Drive to the village of Tasch further proceed to the ultimate alpine resort village of Zermatt, situated at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn Mountain. Enjoy a local lunch. Visit Gornergrat mountain by a scenic Cogwheel Train to enjoy panoramic views of Matterhorn Glacier. Later, return to the hotel.

DAY 03

Golden Pass Train – Gstaad Orientation Tour – Visit Bern – Orientation Tour

After a buffet breakfast, check-out and proceed to Montreux station to board Golden Pass train from Montreux to Zweisimmen. Enjoy panoramic views throughout your train journey. On arrival proceed to Gstaad and enjoy an orientation tour. After a local lunch proceed to Bern and enjoy orientation tour. Thereafter transfer to Meiringen and check-in to the hotel.

DAY 04

Jungfraujoch Top of Europe – Interlaken

After a buffet breakfast, check-out and get ready for an adventurous ride to visit Jungfraujoch – The Top of Europe, for a memorable encounter with snow and ice – a genuine ‘high point’ of your tour! Sit back in your coach as we proceed to the beautiful town of Grindelwald, where the excitement continues, you will be amazed at the scenic splendour that you see from aboard the ‘cogwheel’ train, which takes you to a height of 3,454 metres to reach Jungfraujoch. Experience the magic of the mountains and visit the Ice Palace, on top of the longest glacier in the Alps. Today enjoy a Champagne lunch. Later drive to Interlaken and enjoy an orientation tour. Thereafter drive to Weggis and check-in to the hotel.

DAY 05

Mt Titlis – Orientation tour of Lucerne

After a buffet breakfast, check-out and proceed on an excursion that will leave you spellbound. Visit Mount Titlis, a majestic gem in the Swiss Alps, is a landscape that truly feels like a slice of heaven on Earth, towering at 10,623 feet, its snow-clad peaks, serene glaciers, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the world’s first revolving cable car – Rotair on your way up to Mt. Titlis (3020 mts). Return to Lucerne and see the Lion Monument and the Kapellbrücke. Enjoy time at leisure to shop for some of the world-renowned Swiss watches, Swiss knives, chocolates, souvenirs, etc. Later return to the hotel.

DAY 06

Zürich – See the Magnificent Rhine Falls

After a buffet breakfast, check-out and drive to Schaffhausen to view one of Europe’s natural wonders – The Rhine Falls. Later, drive to Zürich and enjoy a local lunch. Thereafter embark on an orientation tour of Zürich.

DAY 07

Farewell!

After a buffet/boxed breakfast, check out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your tour.
